Confidence in a bottle

A year ago I was at my aunts house and I sniffed the most beautiful scent I had ever smelt! It was my first encounter with it and I instantly fell in love. I later learned which perfume it was and ever since then I have been obsessed with this perfume, that I got a few samples of it to try for a few days before I finally decided to buy the whole gift set including a body lotion and a shower gel.

It's the Si EDP by Giorgio Armani . If you haven't tried it yet I urge you to go try it ASAP!

First of all, this perfume is NOT for the faint of heart as it's a STRONG fragrance. If you're like me and you are daring to try new fragrances that are strong then it's for you. At first sniff I could smell rich fruity plumy blackcurrant notes with a touch sweetness. But then surprisingly I could smell new notes that amazed me. The scent turned from sweet and fruity into a spicy woody scent with a barely noticeable floral hint.

According to fragrantica.com the main notes are vanilla, chypre, musky wood, cassis, patchoulli, Freesia, May rose, Ambroxan and woody notes. It is a spicy scent and is more suitable during the Fall/Winter time of the year .I personally love using it for both day and night but If I'm going out at night I will also use the body lotion included in the gift set to make it even more longer lasting than it already is and stronger. It is very long lasting and on me it lasted at least 7 hours. I like to spray it on my clothes because I can always still smell the amazing scent even the next day.

The Packaging:

I am a sucker for elegant packaging, and the bottle it comes in is the most elegant bottle of perfume I have ever seen. It's classy yet sophisticated because the bottle is plain heavy glass with a sexy black font and the name Si written on it and the cap is black shaped like a pebble. The perfume has a light pink-ish color which makes the bottle even more pretty.

I got the 50ml Si Edp bottle in the gift set with the 75ml moisturizing body lotion and 75ml perfumed shower gel on offer for 75 Euros . But normally this gift set would cost maybe more than 100 euros. In Cyprus the 50 ml EDP by itself costs around 80 euros which I think the gift set I bought was a great purchase. I was really happy to find the whole gift set for such a price.

Confidence in a bottle

I swear every time I wear this perfume I get many compliments, even from strangers. This perfume makes me feel sexy and confident like I'm in some kind of James Bond Spy movie. ;)

I can imagine a really confident and strong woman wearing this perfume and is ready to take on any challenge! Hence why Giorgio Armani chose Cate Blanchett to be the face featured on the advertisement of this perfume. It is total winner for me! I wear it almost everyday and It's surely becoming one of my signature scents. I totally 100% recommend it!
